Bridge the gap.
A plank, a balli and a rope. Between the start line and the finish line the ground is out of bounds, and so is anything marked red. Build something that stands up, then take yourself and your two helpers over it. Drag to orbit the bay and look at your construction from any angle before you commit to it.

Gap widths, material lengths and the exact wording of the rules vary by SSB centre and by task. Treat this as a way to get the reasoning into your hands, not as a specification. The Rule of Infinity is enforced here as a corridor, since building is constrained to the centreline plane even though the bay itself is modelled in three dimensions.
